Good Evening OPA Families and Staff,
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Please make sure to fill out the
Increased On Campus Learning Survey by this Wednesday, 3/31/2021. Even if your
student is virtual, we want your input. All student schedules, virtual and hybrid, could

Chancellor's Message March 29, 2021

Dear OPA Families, The third trimester started on Friday, March 19th.
We had a successful transition of 69 new Hybrid Learning students on Monday, March 22nd.
Although we had an increase in cars dropping off and picking up students, we were able to have
a smooth process. We ask all hybrid families to adhere to our guidelines in order to continue to
have a smooth process at drop off and pick up. Please make sure that everyone wears a mask, and drives slowly and safely at all times.

Chancellor's Message March 21, 2021

Dear OPA Families,
A year ago, we were forced to close our school and educate our Champions 100% virtually.
Seven months ago, we started the school year virtually. On October 21, 2020 in-person learning
resumed. Now, we are starting the third trimester with half of our students in-person. The
COVID-19 pandemic has created the largest disruption of education systems in history. The
education disruption has had and will continue to have, substantial effects beyond education.

Chancellor's Message March 14, 2021

Dear OPA Families,
Thank you for joining us last Wednesday for our Virtual Showcase “Open House”. We had a
total of 199 participants in the administration presentation and at 5:30, parents logged on to the
grade level presentations in which our professors engaged our families in a variety of activities.

OPA Message 3/12/2021

Happy Women’s History Month! This month is a time for all of us to recognize the incredible accomplishments women have made throughout history and the need for us to continue to push our young women champions to strive for greatness and support each other to fulfill their dreams. As Maya Angelou exclaimed, "Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women."

Chancellor's Message March 8, 2021

This week, we have a special night. Our Virtual Showcase “Open House” will be on Wednesday,
March 10th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. It is a minimum day and all students will follow their Friday
schedule because all students will be virtual. The evening will begin with a presentation by the
administration team followed by team presentations. Each grade level and non-core professors
will present three times. This will provide our families with more than one child the opportunity
to attend various presentations. Please click on the link below or you can go to our school
website calendar to find the zoom links for each team.
