OPA End of Year Message 6/17/2021

Thank you all for a wonderful year at OPA! I know that it has been a year full of changes and obstacles for everyone, but thanks to all of you, our students were able to excel. I am truly proud of everything that we were able to accomplish this year and excited for what the new school year will bring.

Chancellor's Message June 14, 2021

Dear OPA Families, Student Recognition is part of OPA’s core philosophy to encourage students to excel. Accomplishments will be recognized in a way that promotes future achievement and supports the mission of building the foundation for lifelong learning and success. On Thursday, June
17th OPA will be holding our End of the Year Awards Ceremony 2021 Award Criteria. Students will be recognized during a virtual assembly. If your child is receiving
an award you will receive an invitation from your child’s professor.

OPA Message 6/11/2021

As we wind down the school year, I want to thank all of our champions, staff, and families for an amazing, if somewhat unique, school year. Although this year saw many changes to the way students received instruction, our professors and support staff ensured that all students continued to receive extremely high-quality academic experiences, no matter what instructional model they participated in. It is because of this dedication and our high OPA standards that our champions have shown academic growth based on end of year assessments that is on par with a normal school year. This is a tremendous accomplishment and one that could only happen at OPA!! And these accomplishments will allow us to head into the new school year strong.

Chancellor's Message June 6, 2021

Dear OPA Families,
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! As you are aware, each Friday we have a minimum
day for students in order to provide staff with professional development and time to meet with
their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). On Friday, our professors met with their grade
level teams to review, grade and discuss students’ argumentative essays. Each student from every
grade level wrote their argumentative essay as part of our writing assessments per trimester.
