The winter holiday season was in full swing with traditions old and new!

All three Oxford Preparatory Academy campuses celebrated the winter holidays with a series of fun OPA traditions in the days leading up to winter break. Traditions play an important role in our culture here at OPA. They provide us with shared experiences which in turn help create a sense of school pride and provide a way to form and express our unique school identity. Traditions also help us make meaningful connections with each other and reinforce our community’s shared values.

Jingle Jam and Polar Express were in full swing providing laughter and the holiday spirit to our elementary students. Our middle school students entertained the elementary students with Frosty Follies, even traveling from the Middle School to our South Orange County Campus to ensure all our OPA family could experience the fun.

And finally, a new tradition was introduced – the Middle School Block Party. This new tradition took the place of Jingle Jam and Polar Express for our middle school students. They enjoyed a selfie-station, karaoke, an ugly sweater contest, and much more!
